Wrist watches are watches that have a strap or bracelet connected to them, and may be worn on the wrist. The wrist watch has been conceived in the 1900s and for a long period was put on simply by women. A Brazilian aviator-Alberto Santos Dumont-asked Louis Cartier, a friend of his, to come up with a watch that may allow him to look at the time but enable use of hands. Cartier came up with a prototype and named it the Santos watch. This went on sale in 1911 and became very popular during World War I when troopers used them during trenches. audemars piguet replica swiss The first major feature of the innovative system is the high-performance ring that is set inside the middle case between the crystal and the case back. The ring is produced from the nitrogen-alloyed stainless steel. It allows the watch to resists the pressure exerted by water on the crystal and the case back. The middle case is produced from 904L steel. Another important component of the ringlock system is the synthetic sapphire crystal that is slightly domed and much thicker than the crystals of other Rolex Oyster watches. Finally, the system features the case back made of a titanium alloy, a stainless material of extreme resistance. The case back is held in place against the high-performance ring with help of a 904L-steel ring. The Sea-Dweller Deepsea is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel that has incorporated a 60-minute graduated black CERACHROM disc to be used by the diver for precise tracking of his dive time. Here comes one more Rolex-patented innovation - the cerachrom disc is engraved with the numerals and the graduations filled with platinum while applying an innovative PVD technique. The dial of the Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea is characterized by perfect legibility - it is completed with gold indexes and hands that are wider and specially coated with the same luminescent material emitting a blue glow. |
